Being a Parent during these times can be enough of a struggle, but to try to go
to school on top of that brings other challenges!

Making the decision to go back to school will affect your whole family. You can
make the transition easier on all of you by preparing ahead of time with these tips:

Set Goals that are Realistic! Once those Goals are set keep in
mind that a lot of responsibilities current and unknown will come into play. This
means that your house won't be in complete order, so accept this as you further
your Career. |

Get the kids Ready! You and the whole family will be on this trip
with you! You will need to incorporate all Family members in the organization of
the house. Reward your family or Restrict them, this depends on who is helping and
who is not. You also might need to be the Teacher too; Provide a House and Chore
schedule to help all family members know what is needed to keep the house in order.
Doing this ahead of time will make the transition easier for all of you! |

Organize yourself! Prepare yourself well in advance, your time
will be more limited than before. Get into a regular routine so all of these Family
Responsibilities are recognized. The Entire family can utilize a Calendar and plan
activities to work around your schedule. |

Upgrade your Technical knowledge! You may need to make sure you
are up to date on all Technical knowledge and skills. Email and computer skills
should be tightened up before starting. |

|
Be Good to Yourself and Your Body! Make sure you take care of yourself;
Exercise regularly, Eat Right, and get good Sleep, you are pushing your Mind and
Body so be good to yourself. Plan ahead; Pre-make dinners, lunches, Breakfasts.
This will help you stay more focused on the importance of what you are doing and
keep you in Mental and Health shape! |

Your Time is Crucial Manage it! Limited time is your adversary,
do not wait for the perfect time to do your school work. You will be interrupted,
be patient and calm there will be time to do your work. |

Utilize small time slots: |

Lunch time (Great time to each your pre-packed lunch and catch up)

Before the kids awake (While they are sleeping, take the time to catch up)

Kids are doing Homework (Perfect Harmony!) |

Search for the Best College for you! Most all Online colleges and
universities offer special programs, make sure you ask if you qualify for any. |
